The heavy rainfall and landslides have caused the collapse of nearly 170 houses, with an additional 600 homes partially damaged, further exacerbating the plight of the affected population.

The Indian government, along with local authorities, has initiated emergency response measures to address the situation. Rescue operations, relief efforts, and the provision of essential supplies are underway to assist those affected by the floods.
