Tragic Triple Murder-Suicide in Oklahoma Leaves 4 Dead, Including 10-Month-Old
The devastating event came to light when the Verdigris Police Department responded to reports of fireworks outside a residence on Thursday. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered 39-year-old Brandy McCaslin armed and barricaded inside the home.
During the three-hour-long standoff, authorities attempted to negotiate with McCaslin, but there was no response. Eventually, officers entered the residence and found McCaslin dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Tragically, the lifeless bodies of her three children, aged 10 months, six years, and eleven years, were also found, each having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators have determined that McCaslin was responsible for fatally shooting her three children before turning the weapon on herself.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Verdigris Police Department will continue their thorough investigation into the harrowing incident.
